AUTHORISATION AND LICENCE

A written licence is required in Germany to offer banking and insurance services requiring a licence, to provide financial or payment services or management investment assets. The licence is issued by BaFin, apart from the licence for deposit banks, which are the responsibility of the European Central Bank (ECB).

The conditions requiring a licence and the process of applying for one are defined in the German Banking Act (KWG), Insurance Supervisory Act (VAG), Payment Services Supervisory Act (ZAG) and Capital Investment Code (KAGB).

WINBRIDGE Asset Management GmbH is licensed to provide financial services in accordance with Sec. 2 Paragraph 2 No. 9 WpIG financial portfolio management by the German financial supervisory authority BaFin and is subject to their supervision.
